After several years of renovation, the Three Gorges Reservoir area has formed a multi-level lake ecological environment. Now, the beautiful scenery of colorful water forests and migrant birds can be seen on the lake.

Kaixian County launched the urban re-forestation project in 2012. Statistics showed that the county has accumulatively planted 3 million trees, renovated 150 acres of marsh lands and built 300 acres of urban scenic ponds thus far, basically forming the ecological scenery of “watching migrant birds in winter and lotus in summer”.
