CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On January 20th, Spring Airlines' first IT research & development and innovation center in China opened in Chongqing's New North Zone. Locating the center in Chongqing can facilitate Spring Airline's operation base in Southwest China.

Spring Airlines has opened both domestic and international routes from Chongqing to such destinations as Shanghai, Luoyang, Shijiazhuang, Shenyang, Shenzhen and Osaka. In addition, by February, Spring Airlines Japan will open the Chongqing – Tokyo route. According to the spokesperson from the airline, its next move may be to locate its first aviation operation headquarters for Southwest China in Chongqing.
