Lanzhou city holds the 2016 forum on the development of new media on April 11.

A forum featuring new media development kicked off in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu province on April 11.

Domestic experts and Internet authorities were invited to exchange ideas on applications of new media and technology and their influence on Gansu's social and economic development.

New products applying Internet and advanced technologies were also exhibited.

The Gansu Provincial Cyberspace Administration hosted the forum, with support from the Gansu branch of Xinhua News Agency and China Mobile Group's subsidiary in Gansu.
