World Skills China 2016 Chongqing Division kicks off on April 27th

For the quality of finished baking products, each piece of bread and each dollop of butter both have strict requirement in weight.
 
The examiner is carefully checking a participant’s operations against the baking procedures.

CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--On April 27th, the Chongqing Baking and Confectionery Skills Contest & the 44th World Skills Competition Chongqing Qualification was held at Chongqing Higher Technical College of Business and will last for three days.

With 28 participants in total, the competition is divided into the Baking Competition and Confectionery Competition, and the Baking Competition is divided into a Participant Selection Group and an Industry Competition Group. There are five events such as Challah and Baguette for the Participant Selection Group and three events including Lasagne and Hard Roll and Soft Roll for the Industry Competition Group, and three events for the Confectionery Competition including Chocolate Sculptures, Cakes and Candies.

Moreover, the top ranking participants in the qualification will enter the Chongqing Baking Training Team and will partake in the national qualification on behalf of Chongqing with the opportunity to partake in the World Skills Competition 2016.
