CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--On December 1st, the 21st round of the 2016 GIONEE Smartphone Cup Chinese Go League was held in Fengdu, Chongqing. Go masters such as Ke Jie, Gu Li, Fan Tingyu, Zhou Ruiyang and Chen Yaoye all came to Chongqing to play.

Before the round, Chongqing Team ranked 3rd with 35 points, following Hangzhou Team with 40 points and Yunnan Team with 36 points.

The Chongqing Team and Minsheng Bank Beijing Team both ranked in fourth place, both having accumulated 35 points. They played against each other and finally, Chongqing Team won 3:1, edging out Yunnan Team for second place.

Although Chongqing won at home, the defending champion Hangzhou also got three points after sweeping away Chengdu and has secured the title of the season one round in advance.
