Kang recalled the eve of the finals. That evening, she wrote her speech draft until after four in the morning. She got up at half past six to recite the draft. In her eyes, the draft was like a piece of her work that made her more excited the more she wrote. Finally, she won the national title of the English Group with outstanding performance and got the opportunity to go to Peru.

Talking about her experiences in Peru, Kang showed rays of light in her eyes, as if she was still at the APEC meeting.

At the APEC VOICE OF FUTURE Youth Forum, Kang gave a speech on the manifesto of Chinese youths. Standing on the global stage, Kang sighed with emotion. Her dream started out of freshness and came true through her perseverance. Then how hard is it to persevere? She couldn’t help asking herself.
