More than 210,000 people migrate to Fengshan county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region for winter this year.
Fengshan, in the northwestern part of Guangxi, has a mild and moist subtropical monsoon climate with abundant sunshine, and an average annual temperature of 20 degrees, making it ideal for winter holidays.

"My hometown in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region is now a world of ice and snow, without any green shade in sight," a female tourist surnamed Sun said. "However, Fengshan has green stretching before our eyes, and the air quality here is good. We have planned to live here for some time."
Fengshan county's popularity climbs as the temperature grows chilly, and even freezing, in most other parts of China. Quite a large number of visitors from northern and western China make the long journey to this place for a warmer winter.
Fengshan's forest coverage rate comes at a surprising 81.2 percent, which has earned the county various awards and honors, including "World Geopark", "Home of longevity", and "the most beautiful World Geopark in China".
Those migrants boost the development of Fengshan's tourism and catering industries, and are expected to contribute more than 130 million yuan ($18.84 million) to the local's economic growth this year.
