Recently, three fossils of Stegodon Orientalis, restored in the Wanzhou District, had their first exhibition at the Chongqing Three Gorges Immigrant Memorial Hall. Stegodon Orientalis lived five million years ago, and has become extinct. The three fossils have over 600 bones, and were excavated when archaeologists discovered paleontological fossils in Wanzhou.
