Folk customs celebrate Lantern Festival

People perform lion dances, a traditional Chinese ritual celebrated generally during Chinese New Year, in which two performers dress in a large ornamental lion head and body, on a street of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Feb 11.
 
 
Locals perform a traditional dance on a street in Linhe district, Bayannur, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Feb 11. Feb 11 marked China’s Lantern Festival, which is held on the 15th day of the first lunar month. During the day, Chinese people usually visit lantern fairs, eat glutinous rice dumplings, and enjoy the full moon.
