CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--The activity “Cheongsam and Guqin” was held at the Centurial Cheongsam Studio on the afternoon of February 13th.

The Zhuoyuefu · Guqin Association, which is committed to helping people who love Guqin read music and learn Guqin, rather than cultivating full-time “Guqin performers”, was invited to the activity.

In ancient times, Guqin was seen more as a tool for national education rather than a musical instrument for artistic performance. The ancient people played the Guqin for nature-cultivation. However, some people in ancient times played the Guqin to make a living. They were called “Folk School”, a non-mainstream branch of Guqin culture.
