Dongxi Ancient Town

I first heard of Dongxi Ancient Town from the students at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute who often go to sketch there.

It is said that the Ancient Salt Horse Road was paved with 99,999 slates. If you ask the local people whether they counted them, they will tell you that maybe Commander Fool knows because it was the shooting location of TV drama Commander Fool. Turning back to walk into the ancient alley, you will see the flags which served for many trade caravans. Black duck has been widely spread in Dongxi Ancient Town for nearly one thousand years, and Dongxi Black Duck of Liu’s is the only store which offers traditional black ducks now.
