Zhongshan Ancient Town

It is seated by a river and only has a 3km long narrow alley. Two-story stilted buildings are typical there. A corridor-type market, old street, temple and lord manor, and green hills, small bridges as well flowing streams present you the with the original beauty of old Chongqing. The story, Ladder of Love, originates there. People and nature co-exist harmoniously there. Glutinous rice cake, fermented glutinous rice in sweet soup and smoked tofu are the most delicious local snacks. Everyone there loves tofu, which is handmade by local people.
