CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--Where’s the best place to see flowers in the Yubei District? A good choice is the Yinhe Plum Blossom Festival, which will be held in mid March. The Yubei Yinhe Plum Blossom Eco-Tourism Area is located in Yinhe Village, North of Tongjing Town, Yubei District, Chongqing. Yinhe Village has a history of planting plum trees for over 50 years and the scale of planting tops 10,000mu. Every March, the Area will be filled by the snow-like plum blossoms. Dasheng: wild cherry blossom

The virgin cherry blossom grove in Baiyan, Dasheng Town, Yubei District covers an area of nearly 10,000mu. Now, the wild cherry trees are in flower.

Flowering phase: end of February to early March.

Route: Lianglu – Yulin Expressway – Caoping Exit –Tongjing – Dasheng – Baiyan.

Fangniuping: pear blossom

It is in Fangniuping Village, Cizhu Town, Yubei District, where is a part of the Huaying Mountain range and enjoys a high elevation difference. Every time when being in flower, the mountain will be covered by the snow-like pear blossoms.

Flowering phase: middle March.

Route: Lianglu – G210 (to Cizhu) – Cifang Road (turn left at Cizhu Toll Station) – Fangniuping.

Gulu: azaleas

Shengshi Huadu (Paradise of Flower) is located in Jiguang Village, Gulu Town, Yubei District, next to Duobaochang Town, covering a area of 470,000m2. Over 30 species of flowers, including tulip, cineraria, azaleas and primrose can be seen there.

Flowering phase: February to October.

Route: Chongqing (or Lianglu) – Yulin Expressway – Wangjia Exit – Duobao.

Dawan: peach blossom

The peach blossom base is located in Jinfeng Village, Dawan Town, Yubei District, covering an area of 500mu. The base will be covered with a red blanket in the flowering phase. That’s really very beautiful.

Flowering phase: March 10th to 15th.
