Repechages of “Black Valley Cup” badminton challenge begin

CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--Since the beginning of China · Chongqing Wansheng “Black Valley Cup” International Badminton Challenge and Chinese Badminton Association Point Race of Year 2016 – 2017, both foreign and Chinese badminton amateurs have been attracted by it because of the high playing level and good bonuses. On February 18th, the one-month long repechages began.

The community-level “Black Valley Cup” for Chinese badminton amateurs, by a “zero restriction” form of team competition, aims to provide a platform for badminton amateurs to show themselves and exchange experience. It is the second year of the event.

Since July 16th, 2016, 24 week’s champions and one champion of wild card special have been fought out by a form of week competition. The repechages will be held in 4 phases, on weekends from February 18th to March 12th. The 49 competition teams are those runner-ups and second runner-ups in week competition and wild card special.

In the first week’s repechages, 12 teams came back on court to fight for the ticket to the annual finals.
