CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--On February 18th in Pianyan Ancient Town, Beibei District, Mr. Tang Qiantai, the inheritor of Colored Paper Crafts of the Tang’s, was clearing up the colored paper crafts. Integrating the craftsmanship, painting, calligraphy and seal, Colored Paper Crafts of the Tangs is another intangible cultural heritage of Chongqing. It implies the cultural and historical deposits of Pianyan Ancient Town. Colored paper crafts can be dated back to the Qing Dynasty. They are made by hand of bamboo strips and require pasting, colored painting and decoration.
