CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--With the sunshine of early spring shining on magnolia flowers in various colors — white, pink, purple, yellow and red — the colorful magnolia flowers are intoxicating. Recently, in Laifeng Village, about 2km from the nearby Laifeng Sub-district in Chongqing’s Bishan District, a large field of magnolia flowers are blooming, bringing the unique spring surprise for tourists to enjoy.

The village has over 5,000 plants of magnolia trees of nearly 100 mu (about 16.47 acres) in patches, such as white and purple magnolia. Chongqing has a wide distribution of magnolia, but the large-scale plantation of so many varieties is still rare.
