Japanese novelist Higashino Keigo’s classic work to be adapted into Internet drama in China

CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--Following the release of film Yougisya X No Kenshin adapted from Higashino Keigo’s novel in Mainland China, the famous Japanese detective fictionist is expected to join hands with a famous Chinese company once again, and his classic work will be made into an Internet drama for the first time, which will be a breakthrough for his work.

In recent years, the online drama market has been increasing rapidly. Domestic online detective dramas are gaining popularity with netizens for their brainstorming plots, fast-paced narration and high-quality production. Japanese detective fictionist Higashino Keigo, enjoying the reputation of a Japanese sage, won the Edogawa Rampo Award for After School and has won various awards in the Japanese novel field.
