Visitors were appreciating the huge and dynamic 3D “Along the River During the Qingming Festival”

CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Chongqing Municipality, the dynamic “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” - the first works of Chongqing Characteristic Culture Exhibition has been displayed at the plaza of Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center and attracted about 10,000 visitors on the first day.

Utilizing modern science and technology and multimedia audio-visual technology, the 25.2cm wide and 528.7cm long painting of the famous Song Dynasty artist Zhang Zeduan, “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” is amplified to a 70m long and 5m high screen which is 700 times the original. The static figures, animals and landscape become dynamic with sound, light and electricity. The bustling Bianliang of one thousand years’ ago is presented vividly.

The exhibition will last until March 20th, for 24 days in total. In addition to the exhibition of “Along the River During the Qingming Festival”, there are other activities like the First Chongqing Folk Art Troupes League and Characteristic Kaifeng Performances. The culture exhibitions are organized by the Radio and Television Group of Chongqing and other units to present a rich and diversified cultural feast to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Chongqing Municipality.
