CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--The 2017 Chongqing International Marathon is to take place on March 19th at Nanbin Park. On Feb. 25th, the Organizing Committee released the special medal for finisher this year, which has a rotatable ball in the middle.

The Chongqing International Marathon has been successfully held six times since 2011. The 2017 Marathon will remain the same, with 30,000 players among which 7,000 run the Full Marathon, 4,500 run the Half Marathon and 18,500 run the Mini Marathon.

The medal for this year is designed with more elements of Chongqing. As shown in the photos, the front side of the medal adopts the shape of jade, with pattern of totem, character of “Ba” (short name of Chongqing) and the logo of the Chongqing International Marathon, including the information like 2017 Chongqing International Marathon and complete miles. The back has pattern of propitious clouds.

Moreover, there is a rotatable ball in the middle of the medal. The ball can even be removed and used as ornament. The medal for Full Marathon is bronze and the one for half is pewter.
