In the multimedia age, the visual angle and thinking styles of young artists are more free and wider than senior artists. They adopt different styles and focus more on their inner feelings. In painting, they will not be restricted to any specific kind of painting and pursue no collective identity.

At the exhibition

In 2015, the Heroall Contemporary Art Museum selected 7 representative artists and successfully launched the first “Successor” Young Artists’ Works Exhibition” which won a high praise in the circle. In the second exhibition, the works were contributed from artists in the country. Fifty artists were selected for the next round. Then seven recommenders (Du Xiyun, Jia Fangzhou, Leng Jun, Lu Hong, Pang Maokun, Yang Wei and Zhou Haifu) respectively anonymously recommended one artist to the exhibition.

The exhibition will last until March 8th and then the exhibitions will travel to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Huhan. (Translated by Ma Shuangshuang, Fathom Language Limited)
