CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--The Chongqing Urban Planning Bureau and Chongqing Geographic Information Center have jointed issued a Map for Pear Flower Appreciation Sites in Chongqing which summarizes 25 sites. In March, the breath of spring is everywhere. Go out with your lover and families to enjoy the beauty.

The spring of Chongqing is full of pear beauty. In the valley at southeast Chongqing, by the Wujiang River, on the land of west Chongqing, the pear flowers are all over the mountains and plains.

1. Fangniuping, Cizhu Town, Yubei District

This area contains the largest pear flower base (over 10,000 mu) in Chongqing’s main district areas and is featured in large scale, long flowering phase and layering. Each spring, due to the temperature difference caused by altitude, the flowers blossom successively from the bottom to top, forming layers and creating a stereoscopic image.

2. Shiping Village, Yongxin Town, Qijiang

This is a AAA scenic spot located in west Qijiang. The pear tree planting started in 1995 and has reached 15,000 mu by now. It is rated as a “High-class National Huanghua Pear Base”. Pavilions and decks are constructed for viewing the many peach, tea and other varieties of beautiful trees in the area.
