CHONGQING(CQNEWS)--The 2017 Chongqing International Marathon will be held on Nanbin Road in the Nan’an District and Babin Road in the Banan District on March 19th. According to the Organizing Committee, to ensure the smooth running of the activity, during the competition time, the traffic will be restricted at some road at times.

The traffic limitation will be implemented from 22:00 of March 18th to 15:00 of March 19th from the junction of Nanbin Road and Tengbin Road in the Nan’an District to the Junction of Babin Road and Ronghui Bandao Road in the Banan District. In the limitation period, except the special vehicles performing tasks and vehicles with “2017 Changan Auto Chongqing International Marathon vehicle permit”, other vehicles shall not run on the restrained road sections. In the limitation, vehicles wanting to go through the restrained sections can make a detour:

1. Yangrenjie – Tengbin Road — Tenglong Avenue — Nandan Road – Nanping Ring Road — Sigongli — Haixia Road — Yunan Avenue;

2. Yangrenjie — Tenghuang Road — Panlong Interchange —City Expressway — Sigongli;

3. The vehicles from Banan District and Nan’an District which want to go through Babin Road can change the route from Longzhou Avenue to Yunan Avenue to Sigongli.

Some bus routes will be adjusted during the traffic limitation period. The route of buses 323, 375, 338, 373, 353, 188 and 872 will be changed and will not stop at the restricted road sections. Buses 340 and 369 will stop running in that period. The specific changes are as follows:

1. From the start to the end of the Marathon on March 19th, the starting station of bus 323 will be changed from Dafosi to Wujing Yiyuan (Armed Corps Police Hospital);

2. The route of bus 375 will be changed to Shiqunhuilu — Dashiba — Shangxinjie — Fulishe — Nanping;

3. The route of bus 338 will be change to Yangrenjie Ruixianglu — Panlong Zhuanpan — Guojishequ — Danzishi Qunhuilu — Dashiba — Shangxinjie — Fulishe — Nanping and then run on the original route to Niujiaotuo;

4. The bus 353 will make a detour from Yanyubao to East Nanping Road to the Junction of Furen Avenue;

5. The bus 188 will make a u-turn at Xiexincheng Gateway with a route cut;

6. The route of bus 872 will be changed to Lauojiaba – Xiaoyuelu – Yangguang Huating – Fulishe;

7. Buses 340 and 369 will not run on the morning of March 19th;

8. The route of bus 373 will be changed to Shangxinjie – Tushanlu – Danzishi.
