Over 1,000 cyclists joined a 16-kilometer riding activity held in the Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park (ITL) on March 26.

The activity, jointly sponsored by the Shaanxi Sports Bureau, Shaanxi Broadcasting and TV Station and the administrative committee of Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park, was organized to advocate green travel in addition to welcoming the 14th National Games to be held in Xi’an in 2021.

In recent years, an increasing number of local Xi’an residents tend to choose bikes for personal transportation due to their convenience and eco-friendliness.

According to the Xi’an Logistics Park administrative committee, the park has recently decided to invest 12 million yuan ($17.4 million) in landscaping in 2017, which will provide a better environment to ride and exercise.
