CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Here is good news! Chongqing Andover Polar Ocean World, the largest ocean park in West China, is set to open on April 27th.

Chongqing Andover Polar Ocean World is the largest ocean theme park in West China. The Phase I project covers an area of over 20,000 square meters, including the Ocean Creature House, Children’s Aquarium, Rainforest House and Water World. The Phase II project, which includes the Polar Animal House and Animal Show Hall, is still under construction.

Since the Chongqing Ocean Park in Jiangbei closed many years ago, Chongqing-ers haven’t had their own ocean park. In order to see large ocean parks, they had to go to other places. However, now Banan Ocean Park is not only the largest ocean park in Chongqing, but also is second to none in scale in all of West China.
