“To prolong the blooming period of peony, Dianjiang also sets up greenhouses to protect them from the sun and rain this year. The blooming period of peony will extend from the middle of March to the beginning of May.” Dianjiang has introduced over forty new late-season varieties of tree peonies, as well as more than fifty late-season varieties of herbaceous peonies. Meanwhile, it also puts forth efforts to create core tourism landscape areas of late-season peony by improving facilities.
