The 2017 Chengdu Environmental Protection Industry Expo will open in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province from April 13-15, according to the Chengdu exposition bureau.

Known as the largest environmental protection exposition in western China, the Chengdu exposition is aimed at promoting environmental pollution control in Sichuan. The exposition includes water environment treatment, air pollution control, waste disposal and biological energy resources.

According to the exposition sponsor, well-known enterprises from China and abroad, including SEKO, General Electric and CROWCON, will have booths throughout the 15,000 square meter exhibition area.

Themed on promoting green development and protecting the ecological environment, the exposition will also hold eight technical forums to discuss ways of protecting environment of Sichuan.
