Heart-shaped Tiankeng attracted top photographers in Tiankeng Village

2017-04-18 11:28:29

Leaving the Station of Mountain Shouting behind, photographers had a rest in Folk Song Pavilion and appreciated the folkloric show such as folk songs performed by the Tujia and Miao minorities. In the stunt show arena in Zhonglin, they took many photos of wonderful performances: the drum performance with three sticks, festive lantern show, beating symbols of Tujia nationality, creative music instruments show, witchcraft show from Miao minority, etc.

The drum performance with three sticks intrigued photographers the most among all the performances of intangible cultural heritage. “It seems that the diving knife was passing across the performer’s nose. It’s really exciting,” said Xia Shou’an, a photographer.

It was sunny finally after the performances concluded, and photographers could have a better understanding of the scenery here.

There are many stilted buildings from Tujia minority in the village.

The scenery of Tiankeng and terraced fields in Zhongshi Yard and wood stilted buildings from the Tujia minority in Yakou is so impressive that all 8 batteries in Wang Zhengkun’s unmanned plane were used up within 2 hours. Several photographers including Wang Zhengkun and Wu Beihai succeeded in taking heart-shaped Tiankeng.

Tiankeng in Zhongshi Yard looked like a heart from the air.

This photography competition is organized by the Village Scenic Spot and photography enthusiasts are welcomed to participate.
