Jiulongpo District – Singapore

I put them together not because of the “po” in both Jiulongpo and Singapore. The Strait of Malacca in Singapore is an international waterway connecting the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and also a cross between Asia and Oceania. The favorable geographical location facilitates the development of Singapore port business.

Jiulongpo District had the largest water-land combined port – Jiulpongpo Port and the largest railway freight marshaling yard in Southwest China – Chongqingxi Railway Station (freight). Jiulongpo District has an integrated traffic network, formed by Egongyan and the Lijiatuo and Yangtze River Bridges. Chengdu-Chongqing, Chongqing-Guiyang and Xiangfan-Chongqing railways are transporting goods outside the district, Line 2 running through the district, the road network of Chengdu-Chongqing, Inner Ring and Outer Ring expressways, east-west Huafu Avenue, and north-south Baipeng Road.
