1. Cherry Valley in Yunwu Mountain, Bishan
The Cherry Valley covers a floor space of 3,000mu, and its core area is located at Liangshui Village, Batang Town and Sihe Village, Qitang Town at the foot of the Yunwu Mountain. The mountain, water, fertile soil, abundant precipitation, significant diurnal temperature variation and experience of 40 years here have made it “the Village of Cherries”. The cherries planted in Cherry Valley are known for their black pericarp, abundant juice and sweet flavor.
2. Cherry Base at Sanjiang Sub-district, Qijiang
The Cherry Base is 17km away from downtown Qijiang. Covering a cultivated area of about 4,600mu, its main area is located at Zhaogui Village and Fuxing Village in the south part of the Sanjiang Sub-district. With a long history of cherry planting, it is widely known as “the Town of Cherries”. A Cherry Festival will be held in middle-to-late April each year. The convenient traffic and complete infrastructure have attract numerous citizens to pick cherries and experience a casual life in rural areas.
3. Daxi Village, Wushan
Covering an area over 2,000mu, Daxi Village is located at the edge of Qutang Gorge, while most of its cherry-planting regions gather in Shaluo Village, Guantian Village and Pingtai Vilalge. You may not only pick and taste fresh, large, juicy and sweet cherries, but also appreciate the beauty of nature along banks of Xiajiang River.
4. Baisheng Village, Yudong Sub-district, Banan
As the major producing area of the “Yudong Pitch-black-skinned Cherry”, Baisheng Village owns gardens of pitch-black skinned cherries covering over 3,000mu. Pitch-black-skinned Cherry is also known as “Black Pearl”. It has been planted in Baisheng Village for a long time.
