CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On April 26th, “Color&Ink”, the exhibition by Dengjianqiang, opened at Wangqi Gallery. It was organized by the Chongqing Artists Association, Chongqing Arts Museum, and Chongqing Arts Academics, and undertaken by the Wangqi Arts Gallery.

“Arts engagement can bring enormous happiness to both artists and those around them. Simply speaking, to paint is to pursue both spiritual pleasure and physical fitness. During painting, I aim to enrich my life, accumulate knowledge, and enjoy the very process and art,” said Deng Jianqiang. He believes that happiness and confidence are constant partners of artists because they invariably discover the beauties in life and then deliver them to public society in an artistic fashion. He added that a reasonable amount of inscriptions is advisable considering the importance of painting itself.

Liu Xiaojie, the exhibition department manager at the Wangqi Arts Gallery, introduced the exhibition arrangement: his freehand brush works, such as Lotus and Peach Blossom, are on the gallery’s fourth floor; his sketches, centered on natural sceneries around Chongqing, are on the third floor. He added that the liveliness and nuances provided by Deng Jianqiang’s delicate painting skills makes him feel impressive.
