Paintings and calligraphies in Zhongyi Ancestral Temple

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- During the “May Day” holiday, many tourists went to Hechuan Diaoyu (fishing) Town Scenic Spot to enjoy the fine weather. The scenic spots such as Feilai Temple, Huguo Gate, Diaoyu Platform, Suspended Reclining Buddha, Shizhao County Yamun, Huguo Temple and Zhongyi Ancestral Temple were crowded with visitors.

Under the big ficus virens tree in the Zhongyi Ancestral Temple, Hechuan local calligraphers and painters Zhou Jian and Ding Zhi wrote and painted at site. Their works won loud applause. In the Chayuan Square in front of the Zhongyi Ancestral Temple, there were many tourists drinking tea and resting under shades of trees. A female tea specialist from Hechuan Mingyang Teahouse performed traditional tea arts for tourists accompanied by melodious classical music.

The tourists in Diaoyu Town were from Chongqing main urban area, Chengdu, Guiyang and some other neighboring provinces and cities.
