Pedestrians wandering on relief sculptures

The relief is about 6cm thick, so pedestrians can walk on them to feel the culture of Three Gorges closely.

More beautiful on holidays and festivals with water spray

Along the 6cm-thick miniature sculptures, water spray devices are equipped and the sculptures will be covered by 10cm-deep water. “There will not always be ‘stream water’ and water spray. It will only be turned on for major holidays and festivals. At that time, the Three Gorges scenery will be more beautiful when the miniature sculptures are flown over by stream water and covered by the water spray.” said a representative of the Business District. On both sides of the ‘stream’, verses, ditties, odes and songs praising the Three Gorges scenery will be placed.

In the whole project, the waterscape area is nearly 700m2 and the transformation area of mountains on both sides is about 350m2. After the completion of the waterscape transformation project, pedestrians can walk on the relief sculptures, which will enhance the circulation of people on the north and south sides of the Commercial Street and promote the businesses nearby.
