What’s the best time to appreciate the beauty of Chongqing? The Chongqing Planning & Design Institute studied the visibility in the last 5 years and listed the best time for enjoying sceneries by analyzing the data and variation trends.

July, the best month for photography

Which season is the best for viewing sceneries? According to the analysis, in most time, the weather in Chongqing is good for overlooking. The best season is summer due to its highest average visibility, and then the spring and autumn, but the spring is better than summer.

Visibility changes with the change of season and temperature, which is higher in summer and spring and lower in autumn and winter. The highest visibility is in June to August and then March to May. The maximum value is generally in July and the minimum one is in December. If the photography demands high visibility, do it in July.

18－23°, the best temperatures for viewing

To appreciating sceneries under the most comfortable conditions, especially when viewing from a high position, the temperature is quite important.

According to the analysis, when the temperature is between 18° to 23° and the visibility is higher than 9km, it is the best weather condition. April, May and June, namely the spring and early summer, are the best time for viewing on mountains. October is another good choice.

If you have no such strict requirements on visibility and temperature, you can overlook the city when the temperature is between 10° and 30° and the visibility is higher than 4km.
