Zhang said that due to small space, the bookstore is expected to be moved to Ranjiaba in October this year and it will be wholly upgraded. In the future, it will be providing services like finding rare books, scanning maps and access to a digital map library.

Zhang said that with abundant geographical and map resources and relying on the Chongqing Geography and Map Lover Group and Chongqing Service Station of Popular Science Volunteers of the Geographical Society of China and other platforms, the bookstore will focus on the realistic problems in Chongqing from aspects of geography, culture and serving the society.
