Born in Caiyuanba, Chongqing, Qin Tinguang threw himself into art creation whenever he was free and produced many art works.

When Qin Tinguang retired and came back to live in the urban area of Chongqing in 2003, the great landscape changes here made him deeply miss those good old days. Then, he decided to represent landscapes of old Chongqing through his brush, which can be seen as a complete record of those historical symbols.
