The 2017 Foreigner’s Job Fair in Chengdu was held at the St. Regis Hotel in the city’s Qingyang district on May 13.

Nearly 600 foreign talents and nearly a hundred foreign masters and doctors from famous Chinese universities flocked to Chengdu’s Wenjiang district for job consultations and to submit their resumes.

The Wenjiang district is eagerly seeking new foreign talents with an annual special fund of no less than 100 million yuan ($14.5 million) to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship. Remuneration rewards and personal services are also offered to senior talents and their families.

“Jobs in the Wenjiang district are very attractive to me and I hope to work in Wenjiang”, said Nick, a graduate from Plekhanov Russian Economic University.
