Shi Tingmao: the champion in women’s single 3-meter springboard of the National Diving Championship

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On May 16, the 2017 National Diving Championship & the Preliminaries of the National Games was held in the Wuhan Sports Center. In the finals of the women’s single 3-meter springboard, Shi Tingmao, a member from Chongqing Sports Lottery, won the first prize easily with her 404.55 points.
The women’s 3-meter springboard, the dominant event of the Chinese diving team, abounds with top-level players such as Fu Mingxia, Guo Jingjing, Wu Minxia, and He Zi. Shi Tingmao has occupied a dominant position in women’s single 3-meter springboard since her crowning in Rio Olympics. She even obtained all four gold medals in the four stations of World Diving Competitions held by FINA.

She has been unrivalled as well in the national games. In this Championship, she showed excellent skills and left her rivals behind. She firmly occupied the dominant position after the first round and won the first prize with total 404.55 points.
