During the Science Week, Chongqing Three Gorges Museum carried out the special event – “Memory of Mother City” themed by “The Light of Urban Civilization” and 120 local families participated in it.

By making use of the lighting effect, Chongqing Three Gorges Museum conducted interaction with children through “reality show”, and reproduced the tailor’s shop, herbal medicine shop and hot pot restaurant in old Chongqing.

In order to enhance the activity effect and increase the participation of teenagers, the night Three Gorges Museum was carefully decorated and designed. By making use of lighting effects, the Three Gorges Museum reproduced the tailor’s shop, herbal medicine shop and hot pot restaurant in old Chongqing through “reality show”. When children arrived at a spot, the Museum’s staff would perform in the costumes of different eras and different industries to bring people back to those times.
