2017-05-26 11:28:41

The participating 333 local people were divided into family and individuals groups. Individual teams were divided into the men’s and women’s teams, which then were sub-divided the teenager team (age 10 – 16 ), youth team (age 17 – 23) and adult team (aged over 24). The youngest player is only 3 years old; while the oldest player is almost 60 years old.

When the game began, each player of every team set off at the same time and, as the night grew blacker, only the twinkling yellow lights at each point could be seen on the field. Players were just like night walkers, shuttling among the points to head for their destinations.

Players set off as the night fell.

It was said that the sense of direction of those players would weaken as the night fell; and their vision would be limited as well. Therefore, the players could not tell their positions by making use of the surroundings. Players needed to read the maps calmly to confirm the map matched the surrounding terrain, and check the way forward and locations of themselves to decide the speed of advance.
