HSR lines from Chongqing to other provinces and cities
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing has opened quite a few high-speed rail lines that bring Chongqing closer to other provinces and cities.
There are 32 trains from Chongqing to Chengdu daily, and 21 to Wanzhou. You can take a train whenever you arrive at the station.
There are 2 trains from Chongqing to Beijing every day, which respectively start at 8:15 a.m. and 9:46 a.m. and take about 12 hours.
There is a train from Chongqing to Shenzhen every day, which starts at 7:46 a.m., makes stops at Changsha and other stations and takes 12 hours 36 minutes in total.
There are 3 trains from Chongqing to Guangzhou daily, among which, G1314 starts directly from Chongqing at 7:49 a.m. and arrives at Guanzghou, taking 11 hours 56 minutes.
There is a daily train from Chongqing to Qingdao, which starts at 6:54 a.m., takes 14 hours and 26 minutes and makes a stop at Jinan.
In the future, relying on the five lines in the “Eight vertical and eight horizontal” HSR lines planned by the state including:
Beijing – Kunming,
Baotou (Yinchuan) – Haikou,
Lanzhou (Xi’an) – Guangzhou,
Shanghai – Chengdu,
Xiamen – Chongqing crossing Chongqing
Chongqing will construct an HSR line to Xi’an, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guiyang, Kunming, Chengdu and Lanzhou, creating an “Asterisk” network. After completion, it will take only an hour to get to Chengdu and Guiyang and three hours to surrounding provincial capital cities and six hours to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Chongqing will be fully connected to important city agglomerations by HSR.
