CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “I can speak some Chinese – I learned it from my girlfriend. We met in my hometown Miami, then I came to Chongqing following her.” Yupie shared his “romantic story” with Chongqing in the "我在重庆学汉语".
Yupie is currently a foreign teacher in Chongqing. He has learned some Chinese from Tao Ling, his girlfriend. “I’m working hard to make greater progress,” said the American guy.
Compared to his English name, Yupie prefers his Chinese name – Li Xiaolong (李小龙). Shapingba District became his first residence in Chongqing two years ago, and it has impressed him a lot. “Shapingba is an awesome place. We used to live at Xiaolongkan, and I’m pretty familiar with Ciqikou and University Town.”
