Intangible cultural heritage Sichuan opera “face changing” performed by Li Kaixin for students
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, Li Kaixin, a student from Class 3, Grade 2 of Xinglonghu Primary School in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, performed the intangible cultural heritage Sichuan opera “face changing” for students in class.
Xinglonghu Primary School stresses the inheritance and education of traditional Chinese culture and attaches importance to the combination of precious Chinese cultural heritage and students’ hobbies and interests for course development. In the course integration at the national, local and school levels, the School has successfully implemented the primary school curriculum reform, in which the key competence for student development is cultivated by 4 theme trainings in 4 half days every week. Currently, in the art and aesthetics curriculums of the School, the school-based courses for inheritance of intangible cultural heritages such as Sichuan opera performance have been successfully developed, so kids can inherit the artistic and cultural treasures of China imperceptibly during the appreciating and performing courses.
