Children were learning Chinese ancient civilization and etiquette.
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- "Girls should put right hand while boys put left hand ahead, then lift your hands above eyebrow, bow with 70 degrees." The summer course in the Liyuan Community, Qinjiagang Street, Shapingba District started on yesterday morning. More than 50 children ranging from 6 to 14 years old wore Hanfu -- the traditional clothes of Chinese people, and learned Chinese ancient civilization and etiquette from the volunteers of the Dandelion Social Practice & Service Group, College of Liberal Arts, Chongqing Normal University.
On the open space, two teachers in Hanfu taught children to make the salute to elders and classmates. Afterwards, they went to the community conference room and continued their studies on Chinese ancient civilization, by use of a specially made PPT, including poetry, calligraphy, etc. (Translated by Shi Yali, Fathom Language Limited)
