After expanding and reconstructing, Qianjiang’s Zhuoshui wind and rain bridge, hailed as “the Number 1 Asian wind and rain bridge”, will reopened for free on July 20th. The length of the old wind and rain bridge was about 300 meters, while the new bridge is 600 meters. The new bridge combines many characteristics of minority architecture like the Tujia pillar-supported dwelling, and Tujia pitched roof. The extended bridge crosses over the Apeng and Puhua rivers, and connects Zhuoshui Ancient Town and Puhua Anhe, two A4 scenic spots. (CQNEWS)
