According to the producer, the film is adapted from the original work. The story happens in a fictional country, intending to highlight the stateless story background. The cast is quite international. Among the over 400 actors in this film, more than 140 are foreigners.

Animal World is a totally different film from Go Away, Mr. Tumor 《滚蛋吧，肿瘤君！》. In order to present the bizarre and motley scenes, this post-80’s director cooperated with powerful production teams.

It is said that the important visual effect will be undertaken by Weta Digital, which has won the Best Visual Effect Award several times and did the visual effects for films such as Lord of the Rings, Avatar and King Kong.
