The Day Lily, mother flower in ancient times, is also called “lotos”, for it can soothe nerves and relieve pressure. Its flower buds are often air dried as food.

The planting of Day Lily already has over 400 years of history. Lanfeng Day Lilies in Lanfeng Mountain, Pulv Town were listed as tributes to the imperial court in the Qing Dynasty for qualities such as a large flower, long bud and thick petals from the abundant sunshine of Lanfeng Mountain. Now, the Tongliang Day Lily has gone abroad and has become the most representative plant of Tongliang.
