Exhibition: explore “Golden Age of the Mediterranean”; over 500 exhibits walk you through time

“The Intersection of Civilization – The Mediterranean World from Ancient Egypt to Byzantine Empire” exhibition will be held on the first floor of the Three Gorges Museum starting August 19.

The exhibition is jointly held by the Three Gorges Museum and more than 20 Chinese and Italian museums, with the exhibits from 18 Italian museums such as Florence National Archaeological Museum, Pompeii National Archeological Museum, and the Roman National Archeological Museum.

Over 500 pieces in 231 sets will be exhibited.

More than 500 pieces of 231 sets of exhibits, including marble sculptures, bronze ware, earthenware, gold and silver ware and other cultural relics, accompanied by photos and maps. The exhibition is based on the “Golden Age of the Mediterranean” and tells the history of the great civilization. The exhibition is divided into 8 sections in total.
