The investment contract of Phoenix Healthcare and Cultural Tour Town project was signed in Wenjiang on August 17.

The 15 billion yuan ($2.25 billion) contract aims to build up a national heritage level healthcare and cultural tour area in Wenjiang. Covering 3,000 mu (494.2 acres), the area will be divided into eight functional zones, featuring hotels, health spas, medical centers and art workshops.

Contracted parties have agreed that they will take up the opportunities of the national "Health China" strategy and echo Wenjiang's green development strategy, working together for an environmental-friendly and harmonious Wenjiang.

Wang Daoming, Party secretary of the Wenjiang district committee, Cui Qiang, executive director and deputy CEO of Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Ltd, and Chen Ping, deputy manager of the Sichuan Radio and Television Station attended the signing ceremony.
