Multiple track of Niujiaotuo Jialingjiang Bridge: Yu’ao Bridge

It was started to be built on Dec. 16, 1999 and the first-stage of the project was opened to traffic at the end of 2001. The bridge extends from Niujiaotuo in Yuzhong District in the south to Dongjiaxi in Jiangbei District in the north. The one-way cross-over bridge consists of the multiple track and Jialingjiang Niujiaotuo Bridge.

Construction officially began in Dec., 2003 and the road was opened to traffic on Aug.28, 2006. It is 1,103.5m long and 19m wide. It has 4 lanes one way and it is also designed to pass 80,000 vehicles every day.

The main bridge is 982m long and has 5 lanes each way. Its designed speed is 80km per hour. It is expected to open in 2017 and there will be eleven lanes to cross the river in each ways.

Multiple track of Zhongliangshan tunnel: Expansion project of Zhongliangshan tunnel

(中梁山隧道复线：中梁山隧道扩容工程)

It is about 8.9km long. It extends from the east of Hangu Overpass Bridge to the west of Erlang Overpass Bridge, through Zhongliang Mountain and Xihuan Overpass Bridge. In addition, it also connects with the Chenjiaping Overpass Bridge. Its designed speed is 80km per hour.

The plan of the new cave in the Zhongliangshan tunnel will be finished and it will be opened to traffic in August. The whole line will be opened to traffic by the end of this year and then its traffic capacity will be doubled. (Translated by Chen Dandan, Fathom Language Limited)
