CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Mark time, arm swing, salute, holding, turning and splitting the gun… Members of the Southwest University Female Flag-raising Class were practicing military gymnastics in the dome report hall of the university on the morning of Aug. 22.

On Aug. 25, these female college students, at average age of 20 and average height of 1.73m are invited to go to Beijing to perform for the opening ceremony of “2017 Looking for the Most Beautiful Teacher”. On Teachers’ Day, we can enjoy their beauty on the stage of CCTV.

The Southwest University Female Flag-raising Class, founded in 2007, has joined lots of large-scale activities and flag-raising ceremonies, but all of them pay particular attention to performing in Beijing. They hope to show their best talents on TV.

The Southwest University class will be the first team performing at the ceremony. Ninety girls will finish their opening show under the march in almost two minutes, including parade, penetration, salute, turning and splitting the gun. To finish this task well, the girls began practicing on July 5. A second training was held on Aug. 10. They will practice for 6 hours a day on average.

On the training ground, the girls all put their hair into a bun. Sixty girls in the square team are in red dress and another thirty girls for the gun parade team are in white dress, with black leather boots.
